Tate Modern’s current exhibition is called ‘THE EY EXHIBITION – THE MAKING OF RODIN’. It showcases the history of his work and highlights his artistic technique, which was very unique for its time. Producing some of the most popular and recognisable pieces of sculpture in the world, including the iconic ‘The Kiss’ and ‘The Thinker’.
His technique with bronze was ahead of its times and involved dismantling and reassembling existing sculptures. Each fragment he created could exist on its own or part of a bigger project. His ability to capture light, movement and work with bronze so confidently meant he received recognition and honour not just in France but across Europe.
At Campbell’s we are lucky to have access to his original casts and a selection of his original pieces. Campbells is proud to share his work with many of his original pieces available for purchase in South Kensington.
