UV Acrylic
UV acrylic is a plastic glazing which has had UV absorbers added within the polymer at the time of manufacturer. This is the reason why the UV block on acrylics is very high >99%. UV Acrylic is suitable for higher valued large works of art where breakage and the preservation of colours are essential, example of this is large vintage posters.
Technical properties include:
- UV filtration – Approximately 99%
- Light Reflection – 8%
- Sheet thickness 2 – 4mm (Depending on size of the artwork)
