Description
Karla specialises in creating collaborative platforms of bespoke artistry, pushing the boundaries of individualism and creative freedom to inspire and empower clients. Her journey began through self-healing after a traumatic event, leading her to blend her 25-year fashion background with art, resulting in unique haberdashery creations.
Karla up-cycles damaged mannequins into woven, abstract sculptures using materials like thread, synthetic wools, and denim. Her distinctive techniques challenge her craft with each new project, drawing diverse audiences intrigued by her innovative use of materials.
Her solo exhibition, “Flow the Art of Letting Go,” in South Kensington in June/July 2022, showcased the profound impact of her art on mental health, inspiring her to use her work as a form of art therapy. Everyone who encounters her pieces marvels at their uniqueness, often stating, “I have never seen anything like this before.”
