Portrait of a Black Man
Description
Description
The prolific Boscoe Holder (1921–2007) was known for his speed as a draftsman and painter. Depicting the people he encountered was simply a compulsion. The polymath could capture a figure’s essence with only a few strokes and immediately, it was time for the next model.
