Description
The unforgiving sickness (lack of self)
I’ve absorbed it,
The need to be like everyone else.
It’s contagious,
The ability to lose;
identifying To self
It’s like a sickness.
But I can also feel this…
brewing in the pit of my belly…
Tensing up in my lower abdomen,
It wants to come out…
The real me,
Will it though?
We’ll see.
I mean,
It’s easy to be part of the crowd
Then be a crowd on your own,
Right?
But isn’t it better to watch the allowed
Whilst allowed to have your own thrown?
Like…
I’ve been here too,
Undecided Again,
Intimate stand stills with DejaVu
Without the guidance of friends.
Feeling fatigued,
Cold sweats mix with tears
cause feelings to bleed
Through the lashings of
Fears that I want to achieve
But don’t know if I can…
So one falls in line with everyone else…
It’s like the blind leading the blind.
With that being said;
You can’t see who’d be left behind,
So I ask,
Is it so much of a task
To be yourself?
You are due
For self assessment,
Two options;
Ones the remedy, ones the diagnosis,
You can’t get ahead of thee, with a poor prognosis
So what will it be;
A shepherd or the sheep?
A Battle between which position
One should keep.
And it all comes round
With subtlety and quickness.
Witnessed
a lot of people in this,
I warn you of an ailment,
that lack of self is the thing I call
the unforgiving sickness
