Description
The artist Boscoe Holder would board a bus to Portobello Road each Saturday in search of luxurious fabrics that he would then alter into costumes. Holder then dressed his wife and many of the models who would pose for him in these pieces. As a dancer, he had an appreciation for how fabric moved on the female form.
